I would wager quite a bit that their statistical analysis is garbage and their conclusions are wrong, unless the only signal they are detecting is among people that are like 1 out of 10,000,000 in terms of exercise intensity / volume etc.

When I hear them say they filtered out things like BMI, knowing that BMI and exercise are going to be correlated, then I know there's going to be problems in their results.

Everyone should take time to read some of Judea Pearl's work on causality and how missteps in an analysis bias your conclusions.

Well the fatties sometimes keep that plump baby looking skin.

The really skinny drug addicted and anorexic people are always scary looking with droopy faces.

So yeah I could see it in that sense.

HIIT really is superior to traditional exercise/cardio. Long cardio sessions raise stress hormone levels. Getting the heart rate up and knocking out hard sets rapid fire with little rest time is the way to go. I sat that but probably go too long myself at about 1.5 hours per workout. I should cut that in half and do it every day instead of every other.

Some authors may call it Scandinavia but they are wrong. It is not on the Scandinavian peninsula and the Finnish language is not related to the language swedes, danes and norwegians speak.
quote:

while the three nations that are traditionally recognized as Scandinavia share mutually intelligible languages—that is, Norwegians, Swedes and Danes can all pretty much understand each other in all three languages—Finnish is not a part of the same linguistic family. Finnish is a Uralic language, more closely related to Estonian than Swedish.
