but what is clear, Guthrie is and likely never was at that house... i think we can all go ahead and agree this woman is dead... they are likely looking for trace of blood, hairs, etc, from the car they impounded... in all likelihood she's in a fricking field on the other side the border

that's reality... it's pretty clear this wasn't a well thought out kidnapping, as it looks more like burglary gone wrong, so it's not like there were provisions to take care of her while waiting for the "ransom"....
she's 84 years old, and will have been without meds for almost 10 full days, if not longer, and we know she has a pace maker, so she is certainly on meds for heart problems... she likely died at some point, and considering how close this house is to the border, it's not out of the realm of possibility that the person of interest would likely know a thing or two about places on the other side the border, 15 minutes away from where he's currently living
