I guess we just hit them on a bad night because I found it to underwhelming. Service was slow, food was average and I didn't see a lot of locally brewed options. That was a year ago so maybe things changed

To be fair, I didn't have dinner there, I just stopped in for a beer.

Good Luck on finding good food/beer...I was very disappointed

This is one of the most mind blowing statements of the year on TD.

It's no Charleston or New Orleans but shite, Savannah is one of the top 15 cities in the nation for food easily

Somewhat related:

Any of you OTers know the name of a restaurant that serves Southern soul food on mass serving plates rather than cook to order? I remember eating there several years ago and it was probably the best fried chicken I've ever had in an establishment.

food along the river is a disappointment, but drinking along the river walk wasn't bad. They also have a place called green truck pub that was really good food.

Good places to live in Savannah. All of the islands are great. South side (where I live) is a good spot. Mid town (Ardsley Park) is desirable as well. West side is the Pooler area. A lot of build up there the last twenty years.
Downtown is either crack town or very expensive.
Also if the street is named after a state...it's the hood.
