Go to Lake Martin and rent kayaks, beautiful area around there. For food I would recommend Bon Temp Grill and nightlife, Max's will be your best bet.

Savannah, GA Recommendations

Posted by Bayou Teche Bengal on 6/3/16 at 12:45 pm
Recently got a job offer that would require me to move to Savannah. After doing a little research I've seen that the crime rate is a little high there. Any recommendations on where a safe areas to live in or around the city?

You would have to put into the Teche south of the Keystone Locks which is 2 or 3 miles south of St. Martinville. Otherwise you have to give them 24 hours notice.

It is possible to take the Vermillion all the way down to the Intracoastal Waterway then head East to Cocodrie. I have a buddy who does this all the time for the start of duck hunting season except he goes to Pecan Island
Glenda's has some great Creole food. You can go there then stop at Poche's just down the road and pick up some boudin and cracklins. Johnson's Bouccainerie would also be a good suggestion.
I've heard some really bad things about Chez Francois recently in regards to health concerns. It would be better to drive south to Abbeville for fresh seafood
I've grabbed a burger from there. It's set up in an old Sonic on the Northside of town. Instead of using the intercom system from Sonic there are flags that you pull up when you are ready to order. Kind of like Poncho's except larger scale. Overall the burgers were good, but not necessarily the best in town. B/c of the location they are pretty much only pickup and not order in.

So you are getting your wife a keurig and want to plan a baby moon to a casino. You are representing the UL-L stereo type well.

My opinion you get her jewelry for the push gift and go somewhere relaxing like the beach. Out of everything you listed I would go to NOLA. You maybe get a bunch of complaints b/c she is pregnant and it will be hot as hell but at least there will be things she actually likes to do.
You would probably get better results if you call a catering company if you want the food delivered to a hotel. Not sure exactly what kind of food you are looking for but I've had good meals catered by Imonelli's and Mazen.
