Flipping between Spurs/gunners uga/tenn and the Simpsons. Woke up late after being at the outkast concert late last night so I just had a biscuit with cheese and a bowl of granola and yogurt

let me be clear. i like gumbo

but when people make it, you run major risks

1. if it's seafood, i'm out

2. often people make it way too spicy

3. often people throw in gross arse shite

No offense, but from what I've seen you don't look like a man who's too particular.

I had some gumbo at Zeeland Street Market one time that was yellow and had carrots in it. I swear they opened up a big-arse can of Campbell's chicken rice soup and threw some sliced sausage in there.

When done correctly, gumbo is one of my favorite foods, especially in the winter.

i won't say it sucks. it's a solid meaty soup. i'm not a big soup guy though

i prefer jamalaya for sure, even though that's really not much more than just rice, chicken, and sausage

1. My husband doesn't eat seafood, so I only do chicken, sausage, and tasso.
2. My chilrens have to eat it so it's not very spicy.
3. Define weird, but I'm pretty sure nothing weird is in mine.

Hard boiled eggs in gumbo?? :wat:

I've heard of some Cajuns putting potato salad in gumbo. I've never done that though.
