I have a dedicated DV'er that follows me around all the forums on this place. They used to DV me, Carolina Girl and SOS fan from the SC board. Sadly I'm the only one left for them to focus their pettiness on. It's been going on for years now, I just roll with it....

VFW will also take them for a proper retirement ceremony.
Best place to take them is your local Cub Scout pack or BSA troop. I prefer Cub Scout because the young kids really get a lot out of learning to retire flags properly.
