I think that is an even money bet.

Wasn’t the effort to redo Bourbon a clusterfrick because they started digging and found a bunch of shite that wasn’t in the records running under the street?

If it floods it will have nothing to do with the pumps. They are all working and all working fine. If it floods it will solely be the result of the crane crashing through rampart and damaging a sewer line which prevented the pumps from adequately doing their jobs.

How much more is this going to cost me? I can't wait to see my S&WB bill next month.

Don’t they just make shite up because they can’t read the meters anyway?

I'm still convinced that some of the new underground major projects have cause some secondary issues that are causing downtown to flood worse for some reason.

That and cars stuck in drainage canals

I fought my water bill and was granted a hearing but decided to have an engineer and accountant review my meter reading and bills for the past 3 years to see if they were correct and if my balance was what they said they were and low and behold they were right.

What Messed up my balance from month to month for a couple years was sometimes they would come out and sometimes they were just estimate so sometimes my water usage would be way under what we actually used and sometimes it would be what we actually use then once they started actually reading them on a constant basis my balance leveled out and I had a high balance and they were actually right so I canceled my hearing and I just paid off the balance

IMHO, SWB being too fricking lazy to get real readings should mean any discrepancies are on them.

But what I used and what I owed matched up. I didn’t have an argument. I would have lost my appeal

Is this going to be the in-game thread for the pumps vs thunderstorms today?
