you talk real tough for someone who is not a cop and does not see what they see every day. You have NO idea how many times a perp has dropped a gun or knife but still had an ace in the hole. Could he have been shot in the leg, etc. Maybe. But you weren't there.

If you shoot a gun, you do not aim for a leg, they are are small and moving and do not neutralize a threat if hit.

The legal standard for "following the law" is for officers to respond with lethal force when faced with a reasonable fear of their life.
You think that happened here?
That's different to the comply or die crowd.
I'd guess the majority of them are against a dictatorship, yet these are the tactics the police use in one.
