So the S5 is much larger than the already large S4, but the screen only gains .1"? What's the point of going back to thicker bezels?

It is garbage because of the software. Touchwiz brings very few improvements to Android. It causes the phone to slow down quickly over time. The S5 brings more useless features that most people will never use. Time for Samsung to get rid of the galaxy line and start over, which they will hopefully do with their next flagship.

Looks much like s3 and s4 they need to change it up... I rarely care what specs a phone has anymore aside from screen and battery

Seems as if Samsung is doing like Apple and going with a minor incremental improvement. And then possibly on the next phone change things up a bit. I have to say i am disappointed also. Was thinking of changing to Android and waiting for the new S5. But now i may just stick it out and wait till the new iphone arrives. And see if in fact it has the big display that everyone says it may have.

Isn't it because of the IP67 certification (waterproof/dustproof)? If you look at Sony's IP67 phones, I don't think you can complain about the S5's bezels.

Still, the phone got huge comparatively, but the screen increased so little!

I am an Apple guy, but an S4 owner. Not impressed by the S5, but I've really enjoyed Android so I'm considering jumping to another Android phone absent something huge from Apple. New HTC One, perhaps.

Because the model works unfortunately.

Same here. I'm still on an S3 but I don't find the 4 or 5 overly innovative. Need to see what is next for the Nexus.

I'm on the S4 and very happy the S5 wasn't a major jump as I'm not due for an upgrade for some time.

Probably jumping to Nexus for my next phone. Sick of waiting on updates to be pushed through.

Supposedly up to 3 minutes. I've known a S3 and S4 that both took a swim and neither has had a problem.

Better hurry

Google's Nexus brand has come a long way since the introduction of the Nexus One way back in January of 2010. Five phones, three tablets, and an ill-fated media streaming player later, it seems the Nexus name may soon reach the end of the line. According to the latest rumors, the Nexus 5 could be one of the last Nexus-branded phones we see from Mountain View.

Word comes from Eldar Murtazin, who tweeted early this morning that the Nexus line would wrap up in 2015. In its place will be the Play Edition phones that several smartphone makers had launched in the last year.

Has asked where the fingerprint data is being stored? There was such a huge kerfuffle when Apple announced their fingerprint scanner, people freaking out about privacy and the government having access to it (even though Apple made a very large point in the keynote about it having a secure enclave). Now that there's a fingerprint scanner on the world's most insecure mobile OS nobody seems to mind. It's always so one-sided.

I love this phone. I will buy it sometime in April. Much better than the phone I've had for 4 years. Im overdue for an upgrade.

I think it's been established that the Note line is now Samsung's premiere smartphone brand.

The Galaxy devices are no longer "flagship" phones.

I agree with this, but technically, they are called galaxy notes
