The parents kiss in The Incredibles. When the wife catches her husband being saved by another woman she gets angry and Mr Incredible pulls her in fast and embraces her because he’s just happy she’s alive. It’s a good moment. It makes sense for the scene. My concern with this is that it’s shoehorned in for pandering sake and not because it makes sense to the scene or story. My son is 8. I don’t care if he sees people kissing real or animated. My issue is the virtue signaling here and making a movie that’s bad and woke rather than just good. Pixar has been shite the last 3 or 4 films. Nothing good since Coco. Losing faith in this company.

I’m not evangelical. I just don’t want to have that conversation with my young kids yet. So that’s 5 less tickets.

My point is the woke crowd thinks we care if two animated same sex characters kiss in movie.

This thread is full of people who care

There are decapitations, beheadings, people blown apart, prostitutes, and blood is everywhere throughout the movie. Possibly the most violent animated film ever made

Again, that's more for kids. I mean movies with dialogue and stuff to make you think.

Again WildTchoupitoulas, you are not a thinking man. Spoiler alert, but in the end basically both man and nature devastate everything and destroy one another in mutually assured destruction. The few survivors of each side decide they have to make amends and work together, or else they will all die. Neither Princess San nor Lady Eboshi are evil and each have fair points in what they are doing as they fight each other to the death with Ashitaka in the middle almost powerless to stop it, even when not stopping it means the damnation of his life and soul.

The movie doesn’t say whether humanity or nature was right in the end unlike say Avatar, and leaves that up to the audience to come to their own conclusion. Each side has their significant positives and negatives that the other lacks. It is by definition a thinking man’s film, which you most certainly are not and would rather watch Michael Bay simpleton bullshite.

Um yeah… the family will be skipping Lightyear. I don’t need to explain this to my 5 year old right now.

You mean the anti grooming bill in Florida or the keep predators away from vulnerable kids Bill?

Disney is done. You’ll realize this by the time 2024 rolls around.
