I know of the dad. He’s well respected in the community but you know how a lot of people in a small town never leave & how that can stunt one socially. Definitely has mouth breather tendencies. I’ve seen him “want to meet someone for coffee” who didn’t agree with him in a private FB group once.

My department fired an Asst Chief's nephew, who's father was a retired fire chief. All b/c he told a captain frick you after being told he was riding the ambulance that day. Connections shouldn't mean shite, but apparently in some departments I guess it does.
