This just isn’t true. The cars were 24 inches apart if I remember correctly. Evidence proves Joe’s hand was in the vehicle when he was shot.

Did the defense not argue that the defendant feared McKnight had a weapon?
If someone angrily blocked me in and walked up to my window, I would certainly be alarmed and looking for a weapon. As would any cop.
30 years seems like a lot for shooting someone that is threatening you.

I sat through the entire trial. The only reason Joe had room to bend over in that small space between cars is because his door was open and his car was slightly forward of gassers. There was blood spatter on the inside of the passenger door as well.
