I’m happy with it. I love two tone and it’s hard to get any watches from AD regardless

I just had an unruly squirrel scratch the shite out of the silicone band on my Timex. The date doesn't keep right on it anymore either. I don't know if I should just wear this one until it absolutely quits or invest in a new one. The market be crazy right now.

There are nice seikos and tissots for reasonable price. Only reason I dropped $ on this is because I wanted one for years

I would def say the TT being least desirable is a purely relative term. Still fetching a tidy sum over the $14.7K MSRP for the latest iteration (41 mm 126613 LN or LB). Trading low 20's.

Watch charts
I’m sure you’re aware of this site but I always find it helpful. It pulls sold prices from eBay and bobs watches and a couple other places. Pretty handy tool for when your AD calls and says he has a couple watches in stock

lulz…

It’s always fun watching someone who knows nothing about a subject…attempt to try and look like a subject matter expert.

OT watch threads were one of my first clues that I would always be poor white trash

Fully embraced it now, actually picked up a couple of offbrand PFGs today

I picked up the blue faced two tone SS a couple months ago and like it a lot more than I thought I would. Been waiting for the Pepsi going on 6 months and will probably have to wait another 6 months. Secondary market has calmed down which was expected but still outperforming all indexes over the last year plus

Ever hear of gifts or bonuses from work? I know guys that make $60k that wear rolex because they received them after milestones of service with their company.

Are you living in the 1960's?

I was wearing a brand new Sea Dweller at 23 because it was a gift for college graduation. Cost a whopping $3k in 1996 lol.

I’d take the $3K in cash after graduating

Probably why I don’t own a Rolex tbh

Of course, they are not poor, but they are the crowd with much lower income than you would expect for their spending. A lot of people who barely crack 100k.

Geez

I bought my Rolex when my salary was 80k. I have wanted one since I was a kid and I got a killer bonus that year.

Guess I should return it since I didn't meet your standard.

I swear you people think we run around to people going "Hey look what I am wearing!"

I have had mine for 6 yrs and I think less than 10 people have ever noticed it and they were all watch guys.
