it's not, he can claim to be Catholic all he wants but if he believes in supporting abortion, then he's most definitely NOT Catholic. If he participated in one, he'd also be excommunicated

My guess is he was trying to get the son back into rehab (son was probably partying too hard at Conan's), they got in an arguement. RR told son if he didn't go he was cut off.
