a tire blew on an 18 wheeler on the Bonnet Carre. Saw the smoke and it finally flying off the tire of the 18 wheeler. It somehow managed to get kicked high enough to go over the car in front of me, and then land right into the front of my truck, fricking up the front end and the radiator.

This is why I tell folks not to text. Pay attention. You may only have a second or two to avoid something of this nature, not that this gentleman could have. Horrible situation

Guy I worked with in high school was killed by a ladder that fell off a truck he was driving behind.

Got window smashed by a truck hauling gravel. It was local company with huge presence in the state. Company paid for it.
Had issue with my city that fovked up my suspension and screwed up tire/rim. Didn't even bother to file with city because they had paid out like 2 claims out of a 1000 in the last 2 years.

There are two holes on I-10 west going through orange Texas right now.

I just missed them Sunday. One is deep enough that had I hit it I believe the front end of my minivan would have been obliterated.

There is a sign saying bumps ahead before you get there.

That a fricking canyon. I've seen them bad before. I can't believe the right lane it's in is still open.
