I just received word earlier that Billy Ragusa has passed away. He was a great Tiger Fan, and loved life. He truly loved LSU athletics, and will be missed. A true legend in my hometown of Metairie.

Prayers for the family and LSU. Godspeed.

Thanks Jack. Dude loved LSU and the Mets too. Read this forum all this time. Drank many adult beverages with him before I moved to Louisville, and some road trips.

My wife is part of the family.
Do you have any cool stories etc I can relay? I didn't meet him but a few times.
Her family would appreciate any stories etc you could offer.

He loved LSU and especially the Mets. I do recall his family had a restaurant. Billy was always nice and
came into a bar I frequented, and always was a kind man. Always talked LSU football. Billy couldn't stand Miles. We did plenty of small Rumplemintz together, which we invented at Step Bros. Always put up for P5 or mandatory P6 tickets.
