Craig Mack, the Long Island rapper who found fame on Sean "Diddy" Combs' Bad Boy Records in the mid-1990s, has died at age 46, his producer confirmed to the Daily News. Mack — who launched to hip-hop acclaim with the platinum hit “Flava in Ya Ear” in 1994 before being overshadowed by fellow artists such as the Notorious B.I.G. — died of heart failure at a hospital near his Walterboro, S.C., home Monday.

Flava in ya ear remix
Word up
Don’t rap no crap, you’ll bore me
I wanna grab my dick
Too lazy
Hold it for me.

I mean, I remember that song. Fame is fame, even if just for a little bit.

I grew in the town he was from while he was coming up. We were so proud of him at first and then shook our heads when he came crashing down.

Dude, was an underground rap legend for a while before being picked up by Puffy

I always thought “International Harvester” and “Redneck Yacht Club” was his best work.

I have never heard of this person before in my life. Probably because I was raised to not listen to shite music.

Overcomer Ministries is a fundamentalist Pentecostal sect in Colleton County that could be called a cult. Their leader has been arrested multiple times for criminal sexual conduct. I just hope Craig is finally at peace. Project Funk da World was a classic mid-1990's rap album.
