Sorry to hear this. I have not thought about that place in decades sad to say. The shrimp remoulade was the best.

Ray installed the coke system in Texas Club in 1981 when we were building it. Just a really good guy.

This is what Ray told me. Whether or not he exaggerated is not on me. It was his story and I'm sticking to it.
He and his brother enlisted in the army and were in a line getting their uniforms. As they proceeded through the line, the brother was in front by a few people. Apparently when Ray got to the station where hats or helmets were issued, the guy behind the table had a tape measure and measured around his skull and said "Damn! Have you got a brother that just came through here? You sure got a big head!"
Anyway, they started calling him "Big Head", and it stuck with him for the rest of his life.
