The man that gave the eulogy at the end was William Bates. He is a good dude. He used to play on the Disciples of Christ flag football team in the BREC League.

I didn't see this earlier, but the first reply in this thread is this. How do you know how all black people feel? Just like whites or any other race there will people who care more than others, you didn't have to bring race into this.

I just watched his brother's eulogy. Terrific. What a guy to honor his brother in that way...seems to be the way his brother would want to be remembered...with smiles and laughter. I was so moved by it and his ability to deliver it so smoothly under such loss and stress.

This pic brought tears to my eyes.

This is Baton Rouge. No outside agitators. No fat asses on FB or twitter starting shite.

This is the city where I was born and raised. This is where I'm proud to say that I'm from.

People like her are the reason why. If I could have been there, I would have asked her for a hug. I mean that.

I love Baton Rouge. We are a great city. We are a strong city. We come together when we need each other.

I have been so proud of my city throughout these 3 officer's funerals.
