As a father of daughters, don’t get me wrong I support divided lockers. But at the same time, I also strongly believe Americans vastly overthink it. There’s still plenty of cultures where men and women share and for most of man’s history we have shared. I mean hell man and wife had sex in front of their older children and still do in many cultures because there’s no place to hide, their homes are too small.

Modern America is different, no doubt. But throwing a towel on and changing is a very minor issue here imo compared to a man racing a women.

Here's why I'm upvoting you. I abhore an echo chamber. They're boring and I appreciate the overall point you're attempting to make with this. Really, I do.

The context though of sexuality an nudity really, really matters in this and it's obvious you didn't think it through.

Public nudity on a European beach for instance is far different than the sort of personal nudity women share with other women when they're grooming in a woman's shower or locker room man.

Maybe they're putting itch cream on their pussies or pulling out bloody tampons or putting on panty liners while their knees are bowed and the panties are around their thighs. Maybe they gotta do some crotch trimming before they get in the pool or whatever. Maybe they want to talk about their frickin' yeast infections or prolapsed uterus.

None of this shite is flattering to a woman and not only do they not want a normal hetero male to be around it, they sure as shite don't want some frickin' guy with a whacked out sexual fetish to be around it either.

And I don't need to tell you that the reason Westerners don't frick in front of their kids is because we have the luxury of privacy and we're not impoverished savages.

Context matters in all this homie.

It really sucks that a beautiful woman like Lia Thomas has to endure a constant barrage of slander. The other girls are just jealous she can swim better.

You really don't read well.

She has every right to believe that institution is a fricking failure for putting their women athletes through this.

Sure, she has the right, but believing that the institution hasn't produced one thing of substance because they fricked up this issue is a lazy argument.

Way to miss the message you goon.

Again, you really don't read well, and like a typical poliboarder, jump to insults when you don't like a point of view.

So if the echo chamber said raping kids is wrong, you'd upvote him saying it isn't?

You say context matters, then upvote his stupidity just to go against an echo chamber What context made his post worthy of an upvote in your eyes?

And as far as trans people in sports I don't actually have a real opinion on it. It seems to be a more complicated issue than I have or plan to put any thought in to. It also seems to be an extremely rare issue that almost never comes up in the real world so when it happens it's a story.

The OT Moderate, ladies and gentlemen. “I don’t care anyway and it’s not even a real issue.” Another version of “who cares? How does this affect you?”

I don't care and I don't think it matters. So the women lose to bigger and better athletes. That's the nature of sports.

Because although he failed frick boy. He tried to make a different sort of point and I at least appreciate the effort.

Now in the future, when you quote someone, try to have it in the pants to quote the entire post. Anything less is just pussiness.

Sounds like you'd do exactly what I asked then.

You have said nothing that denies what I asked you. Being a nonstop contrarian forces you to take some wild stances, own it

ETA: And no one is upvoting you that fast, stop being so obvious with the upvoting your own posts.

We aren't talking combat sports this is swimming. How long has the athlete been on hrt drugs? How is the body different after 6 months or one year after 3 years? And no I'm not suggesting we should give hrt drugs to or transition children. The swimmer in question didn't suddenly become Katie Ledecky in the event she competed against Riley Gaines they tied for 5th. If her advantage was that big why isn't she 1st or the best women's swimmer of all time?

Oh so you have put some thought into this issue. So quit dancing around and just say it. “I think men should compete against women.” It’s an insane concept but it’s also one of the major platforms of the Democrat party.

Who gives a shite? Nothing I say would stop her from playing a sport. She would just have to play against men and she just wouldn't get a bunch of fake acclaim for accomplishing nothing, like beating a bunch of other pudgy girls in a meaningless competition. You can still give her as many prop trophies as you want.

This is exactly why I have my 5 year old tball team playing in a men's baseball league.

How do you enter feelings into evidence?

They're not even valid feelings. Dudes do not feel like women. They might think that's what it is and certainly they are feeling something, but it's just confusion labeled as feeling like a woman. It is not possible to feel like something that you are not.

Nothing wrong with Title IX and giving women equal access to sports assuming tax dollars are what’s paying for it

There is something VERY wrong with Title IX BECAUSE tax dollars are paying for it.

I am fine with taxpayer money being used at public schools & universities to pay for choirs, orchestras, swim teams, track teams etc.

I am not fine for taxpayers paying for a 2nd choir for people who can't sing, a 2nd orchestra for people who can't play instruments, a 2nd swim team for people that are slow in the pool and a 2nd track team for people who don't run that fast.

No more segregation. There shouldn't be men's teams and women's teams when taxpayer money is involved. Just have a team. If women can qualify for it, good for them.

If women don't qualify for it, so be it. The essence of sport is physical inequality.

True trans people are a very small percentage of society.

Seems like a high percentage of trans men wind up being pedophiles.

Have to admit, it’s surprising there are several people here defending the rights of the trans dude.
