Riddle: What can a clock with hands tell you that a digital one cannot?

What is one thing a clock with hands can tell you that a digital clock cannot?

For the setup let's say these are the same exact plug-in clock except one has hands, and one uses numbers.


I made this riddle up, so sorry if it turns out to be open-ended. I am looking for one interesting response in particular.

it tells us that our brains actually stop time for a half-second when switching focus (can see this looking at the second hand of the clock).

Both my analog clocks have batteries though. I'd say most do.

Incorrect Roman numerals. A lot of clocks have IIII instead of the correct IV

Not a damned thing I can think of. And it is likely deficient as to AM/PM designation.

That is the right direction, but you need to consider that both clocks are plugged in. (Power is restored to clock when restored to house)

So, maybe rewrite your answer to reflect that.
