Who’s tuning in to watch The Man walk that aisle one last time?

You mean his next last match is tonight?

If this is how he wants to be remembered, then good for him. Sadly though, it has to be all about one last big payday.

I think he hopes to die in the ring for real

How old is he? Jesus, don’t ruin your career by giving it one last hurrah. It’s embarrassing.

I feel like this isn't the first time I've read this.

He's already done that. I grew up on Jim Crockett Promotions and WCW. I've always been a Flair fan, but he's a caricature at this point who has alienated almost everyone close to him.

I am here and the line smells exactly how it looks. Marlboro reds, sweat, and disappointment.

Supposedly he’s turned down $500k in additional matches (10 matches @ $50k ea). That said I personally don’t think it’s wise for him to wrestle, but he’s dedicated his life to it and more than any wrestler in history actually became his character in real life. Who am I to hate on it

Because I can’t discuss Flair and not post a gif:

I figured it would smell like a $5,000 suit, a Rolex, and a private jet.

That is what makes him one of the greatest wrestlers of all-time. I mean you do have decent ones, but Flair represents the apex of those kind of wrestlers.

That’s probably what it smells like back stage. I flew across the country to stand outside with the unwashed masses, so I don’t know. I’m just one of the Mountain Dew mullet kings today.

Flair's gimmick (his actual personality) was great in his 30's, 40's and even his 50's. But at 73, hanging on to something that passed you by 2 decades ago is sad. Between the bankruptcies and his personal demons, the luster has worn off. The man has a pacemaker for God's sake and went through dialysis for kidney problems. This isn't the Nature Boy we're watching, it's an old man desperate for money and attention.

Wish Steamboat were involved in some way, given that building is the site of the end of the 1989 trilogy.

Enjoy the show. Had two GA floor tix but couldn’t go due to work travel obligations. Was pissed - attended WM24 and wanted to see this in person as well.
