First off kudos to lsupride87 for sharing that data. Really good stuff.

Assuming people in charge of hospitals are reviewing this kind of data along with current hospitalization data and other things I’m sure, it is almost as if they could have seen this surge coming but chose tomorrow as the day to implement masks that, according to Dr. O’Neal, will get us out of this.

Interesting.

What happened to the original image in that thread?

Seems like the whole reason for the post was the Rt was already on the downswing on the 28th and now the image makes it look like the peak was on the 28th or later.

According to OLOL this surge hasn’t peaked yet

It is predicted that we have several weeks and possibly months before we reach the peak of this surge.

In La, the Rt peak was mid July. Even though decreasing, the Rt in WBR Parrish is still pretty high.

That is correct; however, the rate of spread is slowing down and currently trending in the right direction.

This whole mask thing is because the catholic schools got sent away locking their wounds after trying to make kids wear masks. They called their good buddy JB and he took it from there.

Correct
But once again they are not giving data, just fear mongering

This is my thought on every COVID fear thread. A bunch of Chicken Littles, and I can’t wait until they find themselves locked in the fox’s den.

State dashboard stopped giving rates two weeks ago. They also had the % of unvaccinated in hospitals and deceased for one week in July then stopped that too.

Awfully suspicious considering the daily case rate appears to be about level for for 5 days now. It is certainly not rising.
