It's voluntary. They knowingly and willingly accept the system and can leave the system at any point they want to. They don't because the "compensation" is more than the market will bear elsewhere.

I just saw the most awful sight.
I was out working and saw Nooses everywhere!
It was awful! The KKK must have been through here. And the craziest thing was that all the black guys working there didn't seem to realize the danger they were in. So like a good little SJW I told them how they should think and feel.
