When I was at LSU, two guys ran for SGA President / Vice President and at the announcement debate in the Union they almost brought the house down when they stated that a primary part of their platform was going to be Parking Anarchy. Late 80's. We even donned suits and earpieces and escorted the guys around campus as their Secret Service detail. The Administration was less than amused at the whole thing. I just remember the guy running for President, James Daugherty (in the CIA now - really) saying when they made the run off - "shite. We might win this thing. What are we going to do then?" His VP, Eric something, ended up in DC as a professional lobbyist of some sort. They had a whole wacky platform that got printed in the Reveille but the Parking Anarchy thing was far and away the most popular.
