I had a to deal with CSR as well. Have you started a new vitamin regimen or taken anything new even creams. For me it was a combination of retinol creams. I figured out very quickly that taking non-food based multivitamins caused problems for me.

Google "ocular migraine" and read it with your good eye. Had one and it scared me sh*tless.

About 5 years ago my dad was rear ended and had the same things that you’re describing. He went to an eye dr and was told that his retina may have been partially detached from the wreck and was sent to a specialist. It was actually the beginning stages of ocular melanoma. It slowly progressed over the years until he lost his battle to cancer in January of last year. Kathleen Blanco passed away from the same thing. My aunt (late 60’s) had similar symptoms and it turned out to be just a migraine, so good luck.

I had the same symptoms and ended up having a retinal vein occlusion where blood flow was cutoff. Got some shots in the eyeball for a few weeks until new vessels developed.

I had a detached retina. You don’t need to go to the ER but you need to go see an Opthamologist ASAP. If they tell you that is what you have and you’re in Baton Rouge, I recommend Dr. George Fivgas at the Retina Center. I hope and pray that’s not what you have because I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy.

She’s doing good. She turns 9 next month and going to 4th grade. She has to be catheterized a few times a day, which she does on her own now. Other than that she’s perfectly fine. Thanks for asking

I’ve had minor floaters for 4 years now. Nothing major and I rarely notice them.

ER won’t do anything about a detached retina. Save your money and see your retina specialist immediately on next business day. If they are reputable, you tell them that you are having flashes and floaters and it automatically gets you an appointment. Try to take it easy the rest of the day. No heavy lifting or strenuous activities.
