Ok Ted Turner, twist to the situation: the market crashes and the $150 Million in luxury Miami condos are almost worthless. You try to unload them but not a single broker or investor is touching them with a 10 foot pole. You consider selling them to a guy called ‘Catfish’ that has an office in the back of a vape shop for pennies on the dollar. It’s at this point you stop and remember you should have listened to the OT and made your position more financially liquid all those years ago. Guy with 250k in cash continues to dine in semi nice restaurants, you eat mostly by befriending widows and jumping around to different church potlucks.

Sorry ol' chap.
I'm bald and I do believe that my ugly onion head would be more of a discomfort to your peering eyes than my camo AUBURN cap.
Enjoy your meal kind sir.

I agree with the OP. Take your hat off, it’s simple. It’s a simple gesture that keeps society somewhat not trashy. If you argue this, you’re trashy.

As long as it's just the hat and nothing else, I'd let it slide.

Don't waste your breath on a guy wearing a hat in a restaurant. He obviously doesn't get it and never will.

We went to dinner last night at a very nice restaurant. There was a table of 4 that was powering through wine (no judgment there - wish I could have joined in), and by the end of the meal were sitting there playing that “heads up” game with one of their phones. I’m all for having a good time, but it was flat out obnoxious. Fortunately it didn’t last long, but I was just in awe that they would do that at this restaurant.

I don’t really care what you wear to a restaurant, within reason. The only time that’s ever bothered me, I was at an extremely nice restaurant in Italy. A guy comes in wearing skinny jeans and a plain white t-shirt. French, of course. I couldn’t believe it. But his money is green too and the restaurant allowed him to dine there, so who am I to say something.

You wouldn't last one meal in my world.
How many hats have you removed as of late.
Disrespect me or disrespect my hat and you've had a bad day fella.
