Are these environmentalists doing this to save the planet? Whoever these people are can die in a wood chipper.

I wonder how many of these terrorists had $100 electric bills, went through storms and started getting $300-600 bills, then got their electric shut off. They have been sitting home, hot and mad, wondering who to lash out at, hearing aboot Duke energy's kick to the balls.

Now they know who to lash out at.

I’ve wondered why people don’t shoot up substations if they really wanted to make a point. Power company substations, especially in rural areas have always been a soft target.

What other ones, recently, besides the one in N. Carolina?

I work in the utility industry. All I’m going to say is there have been other issues that have been found (honestly by blind luck) that could cause significant problems on the grid. It may be random pissed off people but I’m not sure.

I, personally, blame this shite on that guy with wire-eating rats in his pool pump box.

I was watching the ten o’clock news and they were mainly talking about North Carolina but also said it has happened in Washington, Oregon, and a few other states.

Are you sure they said they were all shootings? Because meth heads have been stealing any copper they can get their hands on. Hell, I think they've trained squirrels to sniff the shite out.

A chainsaw and a few minutes alone with a transmission pole could take out a large portion of SE Louisiana if they so desired, especially with the lines that run through the swamps.
