I'm wondering when places that allow the public in as invitees will have a duty to provide for their safety if they prohibit them from exercising their right to carry on the premises.

Guns should be outlawed. England has outlawed them and last year had 41 death by handguns, The good ol usa had over 9,000.

News/media plasters guys face and name all over the place.

Guy is in history books just like he wanted.

Same cycle every time, yet the media constantly reminds us all about said person .

So mass killings weren't done before the media frenzy began?

and people still don't think we need gun control

Millions of Americans control their millions of ammo and millions of guns just fine their entire life.

It's too late for that to happen in the United States. I'm not sure how we can fix it but Guns are too much apart of our culture to get rid of them. It's sickening that shite like this always happens here

I like how people only tell part of the story.

53 million people vs 319 million people.

Of course 41 vs 9000 looks crazy out until it's put into more context.

People have mental issues, face mental health stigma in this country, Won't seek help, go crazy with no one to bounce their thoughts off of, want to go out in blaze of glory, shooting happens.

Mental health screening should be much more prevalent. Why ban a tool that could be used instead of fixing the problem?

I'm on your side but if England had the same population as the US that would still only be 246.77 per year.

That would mean that per capita the us has 36.47 times more gun related deaths than England.

How do you propose we get all of the illegal guns off the streets? You know, the ones that are actually killing people?

This is one area where I believe the government should expand. Counseling of any type is expensive as shite. A free place to go might just stop the next mass shooting/stabbing.
