We should just cover this up. And tax the poor and give money to the already rich and don't spend money which fuels our economy.

how else is my super PAC supposed to function?

I've got way to much money tied up in keeping the EPA off my arse to have some nOOb in office.

Well that lack of legality means some sort of gun-ban-by-force isn't even feasible as a starting point. You think the military could be used at the Federal level? I'll tell you that wouldn't pass Constitutional muster either. That type of thinking isn't rational no matter how you slice it. Bans are done, off the table, kaput.

In the long term I don't see how if the public opinion shifts. We're teetering on SCOTUS and I suppose in theory a constitutional amendment isn't that implausible with public support.

I don't think it's likely, but that wasn't my point. My point is to cut through the garbage to get to what anti-2A people want most, and debate that on its merits.

Dude guns are already out on the streets. Your not going to stop it. Just like drugs, just like alcohol. people will find a way or die trying.

Frankly, our right to bare arms is worth these people's deaths and thousands more.

Like what? Many of the mass shooters just kill themselves and the ones that don't all end up with life and/or on death row.

Punishment isn't going to scare a mentally ill person or criminal.

Why did you edit?

quote:

Saying gun control will stop having people with the power and control to handle the situation is absurd.

We need a stricter gun code.

It won't affect me, a non felon good old boy.

It'd place bigger punishments on pieces of shite and require a bit more responsibility on the gun "owners"

This shite is getting absurd. We need a middle ground.

Yeah criminals will still have guns, but we should be able to prosecute them to all ends those who disobey.

Better than chasing 1/4 Oz or less pot heads.

Realized how dumb some of this sounds?
