I disagree with your posts 90% of the time on the Poli Board but never disliked you before. Perhaps you don't realize just how freaking offensive your posts about this have been. It's much more plausible in your life view for the white female victim to be lying to hide her interracial relationship or drug habit than it is for a black male suspect to be guilty and make stupid mistakes. Your own personal biases have been loud and clear throughout all your posts and your deleted posts were just icing.

I second this, and will go a step further. You've always been a total contrarian on the poli board, which the place needs to prevent from becoming an echo chamber.

Now I think you're a total POS. I think you must have something against a well off sorority girl, and think in some way she had this coming. I'll bet an LSU KKG would not have given you the time of day in college, thus you derive some pleasure from this.

Why is your first instinct to side with the criminal and blame the victim?

Did he say she was sexually assaulted and they charged him with 2nd degree rape?

All I'm saying is address the conflicting reports they have put out there. Car situation, etc.

He didn't say anything about clearing up the details that were released from minute 1 to now. The original fliers put out are misleading.

What about the dreads?

This girl was with them and gave an accurate description. Why is no one sporting dreads?

Not at all! I don't want to think some animals went around and targeted a chick for no reason.

That's misleading and bad for LSU in general.

Why doesnt her original statement match up with the current events.

I'm more for BR especially LSU. This looks bad.

Too bad u don't feel the same man

Dear LSU Community, LSU Police, in conjunction with our law enforcement partners, have apprehended the suspect in the abduction that occurred on the evening of March 15. We are very pleased that the alleged perpetrator has been taken off of the streets and will be held accountable for his actions. Our thoughts continue to be with the survivor and her family during this time. I am president of LSU, but I am also a father to three young women. I understand the turmoil this event has caused for our students and their families. And I hear your concerns. Please know that the safety and security of every single LSU student is always our top priority, and necessary for providing the best educational environment possible. We received some comments about the minimal amount of detail we released during the investigative process, and I would like to assure you that there was reasoning behind that – there was a preponderance of evidence pointing to the suspect and law enforcement was very close to making an arrest. We could not afford this predator any opportunity to flee or avoid being apprehended because we released too much information. We are thankful to the LSU Police for acting quickly and conducting a swift, thorough investigation leading to today’s arrest. We also would like to thank the campus community for their support and assistance throughout the investigative process. Officers from LSU Police work day and night in an effort to keep our students safe, and we continuously update and enhance our security measures. We are always looking for ways to make our campus an even safer environment for our University community. If you have additional suggestions, please send them to me at alexander@lsu.edu. I know that the last several days have been stressful for many on our campus, and I want to encourage you to consider taking advantage of the resources LSU offers to assist you in times of need. The LSU CARE Team is available to help students in distress, and the Student Health Center has licensed counselors ready and waiting for you. We will not tolerate any crime on our campus. Sincerely, F. King Alexander LSU President

If you commited those crimes and the only report out for 24 hours was black guy with dreads, you think you would cut your hair? The lack of someone having dreads is the last thing anyone should find as being suspicious in this

I've met the victim several times but am good friends with some of her family members. Trust me, I feel the same

I'm reminded of that pilot who crashed the plane into the mountain in the France a couple of years ago. For a long time everyone thought it was an accident and crazy how two pilots were incapacitated at the same time. Very few said hold on the chances of that are very slim. Something else was going on here.

By "a long time," you mean 48 hours?

Dude I side with the victim. I naturally do.

However things have not added up.

I'm going to stick with my "traffic" scenario as u put it.

Also, I'm going to say her parents don't really want this out there regardless if she was raped or not. Believe or not, that shite still exists. Parents don't want their family being talked about like that... Their daughter raped or assaulted by a black male. As a parent, honestly, I could be in that boat. I will never know but it exists. You are ignorant if you think I am wrong.

Second degree is an interesting choice? It's gotta be first degree cause he had a gun and kidnapped or sexual assault, no?

If my daughter was the victim of a sexual assault by any gender or race I wouldn't want her name or our name in the public.

Some of y'all really love to over-think this when in reality a stupid thug met his match with a smart woman who held her own enough emotionally to survive and aid in his capture.

What are you even talking about? Of course her family doesn't want their daughter being talked about in that situation. What "shite still exists?" You aren't saying anything that isn't already common sense.

Again, what? Why would you not be in the boat of parents not willing to discuss their daughters rape?

Maybe I'm misunderstanding your angle here but we are on totally different pages

Edit: I just reread your post, you aren't trying to say that her parents might not want to discuss the incident because the suspect is black right?

I think people began to doubt some details because a previous poster had info that (very slightly) differed from media reports. Also photos of the thug's car were somehow taken between the time of abduction and when he came back for it (probably by an employee enforcing parking rules). At first I was confused by that too, but sometimes the police do withhold certain details for appropriate reasons.

I have absolutely no doubt anymore that the victim's account is 100% true. I think OT should stop questioning her ordeal now. She or her friends/loved ones are possibly posters here and our nitpicking of details released within a mere 2 days of her ordeal will not help them move on.

Someone may have just taken a picture because he parked like an arse and then later realized it may be relevant to the police investigation. I know I take pictures of cars that park shitty all the time.

BATON ROUGE – Video obtained by WBRZ Friday showed good Samaritans helping a woman stay safe after her attacker apparently dropped her off at a convenient store following what sources said was a violent, three-hour assault.

The video shows the woman who was kidnapped from LSU Wednesday seeking help at a store on Government Street near 17th just east of the railroad tracks. The woman is seen on security video at the store calmly getting out of the front, passenger’s side of a vehicle and walk into the store. Once in the safety of other people, the woman breaks down. She is seen shaking and talking on the phone. Witnesses said she was crying and said she was talking with her mother.

The video was recorded at about 9:30 Wednesday – about the time Baton Rouge Police said they received a call for help from the store, reporting a woman had been attacked and left there. City police responded and eventually turned the case over to LSU Police since the kidnapping and attack happened there.
