She isn't talking to anyone anymore except the police and family. This is why I don't have anymore details about the investigation. So if her first person account of the events comes out, it will be when the case is closed.

Seems obvious to me that someone on the ground (not a cop) knew there was a disturbance of some kind and found that car suspicious and took a picture of it, later sharing it with cops. I don't know that but seems most plausible.

Yeah, they sent out a campus-wide emergency text at 11:46pm that night. The picture was taken at nighttime as well. The UREC/sorority area is very busy; maybe someone saw something or noticed the car out of place and took a picture.

I don't think this girl's story completely shatters because of who took the picture or why it didn't hit Nakamoto's desk immediately

who the hell took the pics of his car at the sorority house?

Maybe it was a parking ticket enforcer that wrote a parking ticket for being an unregistered vehicle? Do they take pictures for each parking ticket?

After 5pm or so on weekdays, no parking tickets are issued on campus

This is the most plausible explanation. You can clearly see in the picture that it's a person taking the picture. The angle is from ground level, and in the reverse angle you can see the background is clear of anything that would cast a shadow expect for a light. Had the cops swept the parking lot for suspicious vehicles then they would have just left some units there and questioned anyone leaving. No way this guy had 10 lb balls to go back and get the car from an active crime scene.

I'm gonna guess he did indeed have a 10lb package which is why he lacked cranial blood supply and retrieved a car from a crime scene.

Criminals are dumb...very dumb

Here's a recap of what the source said. I think WBRZ just updated their story with more details, such as the driver going back to get his car from LSU:

quote:

A source tells The Investigative Unit's Chris Nakamoto that a suspect drove to campus in the vehicle, parked near the victim's sorority house. He then approached the suspect, said he was armed and forced her into her car. He then drove away from the scene and forced her to perform a sex act. The victim was able to escape when she was brought to a store on Government Street.

The source says the suspect then drove back to recover his vehicle. It is unclear at this time if the victim's car was recovered.

DNA on the victim's clothes was sent to the Louisiana State Police crime lab to be processed. The victim was attacked during daylight hours just before dark, the source says.

cops could have left the car there to see if anyone would pick it up and then see where they drove it too.....

You are literally just spewing shite out of your mouth. This poor girl gets kidnapped and sexually assulted at gunpoint and you are actively trying to prove that this is somehow her fault. Clearly you don't have a daughter, sister, or any sort it empathy.

To be fair, I didn't see where he said it was her fault.

Doesn't explain why the suspects are then picked up 2 days later.

Not in that one post. But this whole time he has been suggesting it was either a drug deal or tinder date gone wrong. That or she some how knows this guy.

Well you missed yesterday when he thought she was hiding an interracial relationship from her parents. The post got whacked. Not sure why he's not banned.

What I mean is I don't think the police had identified it as the crime scene yet, or they likely would have at least stopped and questioned him. Much more plausible that the pic was taken before anyone knew anything, as the other guy pointed out.

Once again, I don't see the harm in asking if that is a possibility. It seems like something you would want to explore in order to rule it out as a potential scenario.

I never said that at all and you are a liar. My posts got deleted because I said it was more likely for a girl to know the dude for whatever reason than it was for a rapist to drive into one of the most policed places in baton rouge and abduct her.

And the part where someone said she went to buy condoms so he could rape her and people believed it. This is a mess.

Then there are a bunch of inconsistencies in stories and the LSU PD isn't sharing information with the public when there's is a predator at large?

Give me a fricking break.

I know terrible abuse happens and maybe something happened for this girl and I hope she gets the help she needs. But as presented, it seems far fetched and spiraled out

If your earlier post got deleted because you simply said "it was more likely for a girl to know the dude for whatever reason than it was for a rapist to drive into one of the most policed places in baton rouge and abduct her," then why isn't your latest post (that I'm replying to) going to get deleted?

Because your "whatever reason" from earlier was a lot more detailed and offensive.

Many people have brought up the possibility of the girl and suspect knowing each other (although it seems far fetched). Their posts didn't get deleted, though, because they aren't assholes.
