if the repairs arent urgent, then you demand he works when you can be there. Change the lock(s). That shouldn't be debatable. Don't give that key to anyone who doesn't live there. You really shouldn't be there by yourself with any stranger who is a male. Times are just too dangerous.

How old are you? What were you wearing when he walked through the door?
Posted on 3/14/16 at 11:15 am to emboslice
Tell him that if he finishes quickly you will let him PIIYB.

Should have got the key back the moment he walked in the door before he had a chance to "misplace" it again.
I would have said "I see you found my key. I have been needing that. Let me go ahead and get that before it gets misplaced again".

I'm 25, and I'm in lounging around the house clothes. I probably would've been really wigged out if I had been sleeping and I woke up to the sound of him walking in

He is definitely sniffing your panties.

just the thought of this turns repairmen on.

Apartment repairmen did this to me and my gf before, no knock just came in, no notice given and no reason apart from annual stuff to be in there.
Within 5 days our door was kicked in and we were robbed, fricking pieces of shite got away with it too.

i'd run to the nearest message board and ask a bunch of complete strangers what to do.

You shouldn't be scheduling anything with the repairman since you aren't the one that hired him, your landlord did. It's your landlord's job to schedule him to come out, notify you exactly when he will be there, and to make arrangements for them to get in.
You need to call your landlord and explain the situation and request that they start doing their job in a more organized/professional manner.

Yeah, my roofer taking his sweet arse time as well. Warranty work for me, so he has been delaying my shite. He installed roof on 3 properties. I told his bitch arse don't look for me call you to submit bids again if it's not fixed by today.

The last time I had guys doing a project than seemingly were more interested in smoking meth that working I put all their shite out on the driveway that they left and when they showed up I politely told them to frick off. But that was after weeks of bullshite and I had another guy lined up to finish the gig and I wasn't going to lose my arse financially. I have had two bad experiences and dozens of good ones though, so this was extreme for me and probably should have been done earlier.

Before he leaves for the day:
Ask him how much longer? Set up a date that you will be home all day and he can come then and this needs to get finished.
Tell him you're not comfortable with him having a key. He needs to leave it. Even then I'd ask your landlord to re key the locks because it creeps you out too much that this guy may have made a copy.
You have a right to security in your home.

You seem to like making questionable life choices, want to go on a date?

I'd raise hell with your landlord or whoever you pay rent to.

I got the key back though and hopefully he will be gone forever after he finishes up soon.
Well, gone until he breaks back into the house with all the copies he's made of the key.
