I’m surprised there weren’t more, to be honest. Sickens me to look at those pictures. Such an incredible lack of respect for human life displayed that day.

Flight 175 was banking hard over New York Harbor and the passengers would have seen a clear view of the North Tower burning out the left window. Simply horrifying final moments seeing the building you're about to fly into and seeing a building already struck.

I’ll be honest with you…. After all these years, I never really thought about children getting killed in those attacks because I just assumed that it was a school day and kids wouldn’t be anywhere near the Twin Towers or Pentagon

This is pretty heartbreaking

EDIT: I just read that they were actually on the planes.. not in the actual buildings

Still, very heartbreaking

I don’t know why, but I was surprised the number was only 8. Thankful for that, but thinking of what these poor kids went through hurts my heart. I can only hope that maybe the younger ones didn’t understand what was going on.

Shitty. Kids born on 9/11 can now drink today. What a terrible way to always have to celebrate your bday.

My wife was at home and started having contractions with our daughter while she was watching the news. She was praying she wouldn’t be born that day because of the association with all that died.

I was at work in the ICU, I believe she went to the OB and everything settled down. Daughter wound up being born 9/21.

TBH, I don't ever remember kids being mentioned at all.
