Jessie Duplantis is god.

Just ask him to eliminate the thing you are seeking exemption from.

...and ask him who is his barber? Preacher cuts rock.

Why do you need a pastor to sign it? You don’t have to go to church to be religious. That’s so bs right there

You don’t need a pastor. Go read the rules. I got an exemption as a Pagan baw. I actually am a Pagan by definition as I’m not Christian. Most important thing is you have to not give them reason to believe you have ulterior reasons for the exception. Not liking Biden, hating shots, etc, aren’t good reasons. Has to be because it would damage your relationship with your religion.

The first amendment says that Congress shall make no laws establishing a national religion or preventing the free exercise of religion.

It does not have anything to do with Ochsner and granting exemptions to employment conditions based on religious grounds.

Bro, you should be proud to not be vaccinated! Why you trying to hide? Proudly accept the consequences.

Does any church really have in its dogma that it’s members are not to get vaccinated?

Ocshner cannot fire employees

This has nothing to do with the First Amendment. This is a challenge to Ochsner's mandate and the Louisiana state constitution

Either way, this ruling is a stay in enforcement while a challenge is adjudicated. This is not a ruling stating that one side is correct.

Not specifically. That doesn’t matter though. If your reason for something is that it would damage your relationship with your beliefs, you can be exempt provided it doesn’t put the company at risk to accommodate you. I don’t even think you have to believe in a God at all. It just has to do with a religious practice.

There is published guidance, with examples, from the government. Interesting read.

you can be your own pastor or leader. There is no definition of what "religion" is that requires a specific setup. You make your own religion.

We really have to do a better job educating people about what the constitution is and how its applied in this country.

Any knows a pastor or religious leader that can sign an exemption form?

If you don't know a pastor or other church leader, it seems like you may not have a religious exemption.

Nah, that's not how it works. It needs to be "sincerely held religious beliefs". This indicates you have to have a history of participating in a religion and have either refused medical treatment/procedures on religious grounds in the past or the belief you've proven to follow have a history of abstaining from vaccination.

Gotten a flu shot in the last couple of years? Say goodbye to your religious exemption.

Also, third party companies are picking up a lot of these exemption reviews for corporate America. You can't just give a wink and a nod to your boss with a bullshite note and think you're good to go. These third party reviewers don't play around.

You're not completely wrong. It's evaluated on a case by case basis. But the EEOC Section 12 Manual specifically says you don't have to be scrupulous in your observance.(search for scrupulous if you don't want to read all that shite) But you are absolutely right that the person has to be thought sincere by the investigator. So if you have a previous history of vaccination, better have a sincere reason for not wanting this one.

The examples are helpful as well. You have to choose your words wisely when making a request for an exemption.
