Did she claim that? From the quote, all I get is that she doesn't want her child killed because the jail fricked up. I don't see anything about forgetting the rest of the sentence.

Obviously not, but this is clearly a stick situation.

I don't know how to answer it honestly.

They released him. He didn't break out of jail.
and i'm sure he didn't say anything about it during the process.
I'm sur ehe went right along with the entire process.
Sure his "Mama" did as well.
Praise Jesus right?

i'm taking this quote as she wants them to stop looking for her son.

quote:

"It's not his fault, it's not his fault. He got released," Johnson said. "You told him he was no longer your property, he bonded out, and now you're hunting him like a dog, like he escaped from prison or something

Yes she is. If the bank teller accidentally gives you $1100 on a withdrawal instead of $1000 are you stealing a $100? YES. The fact that this argument is even being had shows how far America's morals have gone into the shiatter.

You are trying way to hard.

Morally, he may have had an obligation, but technically he had none. It is not his job to stay on top of the state's paper work.

Even with that said, I don't know too many people age 30 facing 40 years in prison who would fight too hard if they were told they were free to go. Do you?

Well, taking things out of context to make a point is one way to go about it.

\You don't get to leave out the part of the story directly preceding your out of context quote:
quote:

His mother's greatest fear, she said, is that they kill him if they find him.

so it's his fault they fricked up the paperwork and set him free? And it's my fault the teller whose job is to count money can't count?

nope. Any my issue really isn't with him and his actions. I believe he acted as anyone in his situation would.

It's the defense his mother is putting up. You should listen to the audio of her. Same ole shite. He didndunuffin. She's saying this after he's been ordered to turn himself in by authorities.

nice try but to keep from getting "hunted like a Dog and killed" he simply needs to turn himself in.

In this specific instance, he didn't.

Do we really have to say what you're doing here?

How so? Someone made an error you know they made an error and you ignore it knowing legally and morally you are in the wrong.

I didn't listen to the audio file, just going off of what you posted.

That being said, he will end up back in jail soon or enough, or end up dead...

You're lying to yourself if you really think that if you had a 40 year prison sentence and they suddenly released you early you would tell them of the mistake and stay in prison.
