Saw a couple shows there as a kid.
I watched the first run of "Smokey and the Bandit" at the Rebel theater on Plank. I learned a lot off cool words I still use today.

My first XXX there was lots of slurping noises and bouncing heads for months before we saw the penetration angles. Was a coming of age for me.

I went to middle school at Istrouma in the early 80's when they were bussing all of the white kids to the other end of town as part of the great desegregation experiment.
One of the big events as a 6th-8th grader was reading the titles of the XXX movies at the Regina XXX as we drove by on the way to school in the AM.

Saw many great sci-fi and monster flicks on Saturdays at the Regina and the Dalton theaters in the late ‘50s.
