I’m looking for an Apple laptop for my 13 year old son.

Has anyone had experience with the refurbished ones?

I’m tired of the PC virus and long running virus scan programs that slow things down.

We bought refurbished MacBook from Walmart.com 4 years ago and it still works like a charm.

I bought one a few years ago and still use it as my primary. Works like a charm.

Just make sure it has a solid state drive and at least 8GB of RAM.

You're doing something wrong. With Windows 10 and Avast, you shouldn't see many issues. You may be running a very outdated PC.

But here you go:

Check slickdeals generally but here's a refurbished one at bestbuy: LINK

You don't say! I'll have my office manager order some for our new building.

I have two MacBooks right now that both run like the day I got them, including one from 2009.

I have never seen a PC laptop that has lasted more than five years that was used daily.

I have one that I've been having since 2009 and still works well. Granted it is outdated but still does what I need it to do.
