Side by side GE , a couple of weeks ago I came home it was frozed up , I let all the ice melt and changed the coil and thermostat and everything was all good , then it iced up again ...

I checked and changed the timer and it's been running fine until today ..

I checked and it's iced up again, I put it in defrost cycle and both coils are heating up , the timer seems to be working.... any advise

Did you check the freezer lightbulb? That's what keeps things from frosting up.

I'm guessing it's not. OP check the fan, if it's not working granger should have it in stock.
