You must need a new tv or new glasses then. You can see at least two fingers hit him in the eye before the cap is knocked off.

Not one finger touches his eye, they did rub across his face: I watched it live last night and kept replaying it because of his reaction. He sat on the ground and never rubbed his eye or acted like his eye was touched. I really don’t know what you’re going for in this thread, but carry on.

So if you watch right after this, another EMU player who was not in involved in the fight goes to help him up and he declines the help, then the player picks up his hat and tries to hand it to him and the ref walks away like he's being passive aggressive. The EMU player is like "WTF am I supposed to do with this dude's hat now?"

He also made it a point to interact with the QB that hit him after walking around to compose? himself while the referees was discussing things. Perhaps the QB was apologizing or something, but he came by and gave him the ole "get back" thing refs do.
EMU had terrible discipline late in that game. Two different seniors were ejected. Had a cornerback or something get booted for spitting in a guy's face, and then this; their starting quarterback throwing punches with seconds left as they try to pull off a miracle. Terrible way to end a season and career.
