I like Reed but all these guys are so full of shite when they say it’s “about the science”.
Just be honest. You want to get as close as possible to the strongest tornados possible because you are 90% film maker and 10 % “for the science”.

I agree. But at least Reed is degreed in this field unlike most chasers.
I think he gets grants to place gadgets in path of tornados and release into them. And then he still needs money to operate.
I think he truly just loves weather and danger. And gets to travel all over and do speeches about weather. Gets to be a kid basically and needs money to have the best toys on the block.

I think it’s kinda insane a guy like Ryan Hall has no degree and yet is arguably the wealthiest and most popular weatherman on YouTube
