Anyone ever have this happen to them. Smell something you haven't smelled in years/decades and you finally rediscover some odd smell from your childhood?
Ever smell something disgusting and it smells kinda like food you've eaten before?
Example, I was walking through the infamous Chicago landmark known as the pisss tunnel. It's covered in so much piss the air is competely rancid.
There was so much salt in the air though, it kinda smelled like a soup I had when I was little

Every now and then I will encounter a freshly cut lawn wet from rain or dew and it will smell just like jizz to me.

Sometimes I’ll catch a whif of cig, stale liquor, weed, and horse manure and I’ll have flashbacks of Bourbon Street.
Also, chili reminds me of preschool. Never understood that.

Took care of burn patients years ago. The smell was pretty bad, so housekeeping would put these little bottles of Big-C in the rooms. The bottle had some liquid in it and it was supposed to cover up the odor of the burns. Years later they came out with the citronella oil for keeping mosquitoes away. Turns out the C in Big-C was citronella. Can't smell it without smelling those burns.
