Record low temperatures in Dallas

Damn global warming!
Afternoon high today expected to be 62 degrees, breaking the previous coldest high temperature set back in 1954 of 63.
Usually the water temp in my pool is swimmable by now. It's still too cold. My jimmies would completely disappear if I jumped in.

Are you so poor that you don’t have a heated pool?

It's climate change, not weather, FYI.

A few days of cold temps in Dallas does not refute a mountain of evidence for changes in the worldwide climate.

Subtle “I live next door to YMCA” brag.

I just went there for the first time a couple days ago to see Slayer (yes that's where the name is from) and thought it seemed colder than I was expecting.

Unless you have something other than "adjusted" temp data.....you dont have shite

I dont really have an opinion one way or another when it comes to "climate change/global warming" but citing record cold temperatures in sample size error isnt an argument against CC/GW.
On the geological time scale, when the Earth goes through natural cycles of climate change either Snowball Earth or fiery hell, it was preceded with wild temperature swings. Its not like it just got progressively colder everyday until everything was frozen.

62, that’s a veritable heat wave! Parts of Minnesota had 10” of snow on Wednesday.

I’ve been saying for years that surface temperature measurements (and long term trends) have been affected by encroachment of urbanization on the placement of weather stations used to measure surface air temperature, and track long term climate. In doing so we found some hilariously bad examples of climate science in action, such as the official USHCN climate monitoring station at the University of Arizona, Tucson:

Oh look, some ignorant arse who likes to poke fun at a local weather pattern and confuse it for something global. It’s gonna be close to 80 here in NW Montana this weekend. It hasn’t been this warm in May in a long time.

Climate change thread.
O/U 10 pages.

But it has been that warm before in May.

Of course the climate changes. The fact that we aren’t in an ice age is proof of that.
And I’ll give you a hint, man didn’t cause us to go into or come out of the five ice ages we know of.
