Yes if they're not from another southern city. There or maybe some other restaurants that are not in their resident city. Otherwise, there really isn't anything particularly special about baton rouge that you can't get in any other comparable sized city.

Get a box of wings and some Fanta grape at the blue store, then take them to the bluff at Southern.

Lafayette is about the same as baton rouge in that there's nothing there that you can't get elsewhere.

Day 1: Drive to St Francisville
Day 2: Drive to Nola
Day 3: Drive to Lafayette

Really display close proximity to other (better) places

*Yes I know Nola is a shithole, but atleast there is shite to do there to have a decent time

The sad truth is that there isn’t much that is impressive about BR or Louisiana.

I’m usually embarrassed when my wife’s family comes from out of state to visit. Most of the time they are horrified with the bad roads, litter, trashinezs, etc

Take them riding around Plank road and enjoy everything Baton Rouge has to offer. Stop by and talk to the locals

Uh...fred’s free drinks? At least the old fred’s free drinks. $10 all you can drink top shelf from 8-10 was magical.

Do they not do this anymore?

True. It explains why we drink, though.

Tell them to take the old bridge to avoid the cluster that is trying to get over the new bridge.

Where would be some places you would take them within the BR metro area that you think would impress them.

Is this person blind? Cause I think that is your only way of impressing an outsider with BR.

Yeah but that is the only nice thing about BR

This is one of the most overrated places in the city. The only thing that is above average there is the view.
