Revisionist History by Malcolm gladwell is pretty good. Have to look through his pretentiousness but he has some pretty good content

Haha. He used to really annoy me on his podcast, and some eps are still heavy handed, but I actually went back and read his books AFTER listening to all of Revisionist History and find him less pretentious now. I think he is just a true geek.

The Revisionist History ep about country music. Holy shite, onion cutter.

first of all, your # of posts is below your username, genius; takes less than a second.

my point is after 5 years of lurking(i guess), he breaks silence to give a podcast recommendation? i'd expect something a little more profound.

I listen to a variety of podcasts: sports, business, pop culture, gambling. Here are a few I've enjoyed lately.

Business Wars

The Rewatchables (movies)

Les is More (Les Miles)

Against all Odds (gambling)

Pardon My Take

Saints Happy Hour, Pod of Geauxld & Krewe du Drew are some good local sports ones to check out.

S-Town is fantastic. It was the precursor to Serial, although the stories are unrelated.

Funny I came to post Business Wars and it was posted in most recent post. I don't know how to make a dime but I love business history.

The first 5 episodes were. The last two destroyed that though.
