Best bang for the buck. Nothing fancy just a rectangle maybe deepest part being 5’. Not a baller

In Baton Rouge? GW Oliver is good. You don't want to buy an "affordable" pool... something you can't cut corners on.

Dale, Allen Bryant in Destrehan just did mine almost 2 years ago and he did a great job. His prices are very good. He is a local guy and still comes to my house when we have issues or questions.
His # is 504-382-8505.

Allen Bryant is good but he has a long timetable because he’s a small operation. He does a good job though.
Crystal Pools is a good one
Paradise Pools is decent

His biggest delay is that he chooses to only work with one plumber as he feels that he is the best and won't settle for anyone else. If it lines up well with the plumber, then he is pretty quick. He charged me $51k for my pool. My other 2 quotes were $65k and $70k. Also we had a leaking valve on our pool equipment a few weeks ago, shot him a text, he was at my house in 15 minutes. Ordered a new one and came out and replaced it with no questions or charges.

My pool in Fort Worth was built and completed as of May 31st.
It was right around your $51k mark but it's slightly longer and wider than what they considered average. I think it was about 40' long by 20' wide but in a free form shape. Rectangular pools are less economical gallon for gallon. Have the pool sales guy explain why. We just got a somewhat basic hobby pool. Upgraded the plaster, added kooldeck around the decking, and added a couple of features. Variable speed pump is worth its weight in gold.
My $.02 is that the terms of your deal are as important as the pool builder itself. Learned some lessons the hard way. Don't agree to pay the final installment until the pool is completed. I'd also get more specific on "rock charges". We hit rock and had to pay $2,800 extra for rock. So going back, I'd negotiate for a cap on the rock charges. And specify when the rock charges begin.
Get two LED lights.
It's too late in the year to get any use out of it this season, so I'd suggest waiting till October or November to sign a contract and get it started as soon as you can. I signed for ours in September and got a $3,000 discount.

Your pool design looks like it was done in 1978.
Not a criticism, just an observation.
With those live oaks I see why you have an enclosure.
