I got some Tecovas cowboy boots for Christmas. If the ropers are anything like the cowboy boots. I highly recommend them. Great boots.

Wyatt (ostrich) in pecan.
My dad has several pair of Lucchese and he was impressed. Said the leather was probably softer than his Luchesses. He’s going to get the Caiman Tecovas now

I have Lucchese as well. Thanks for reply. Those Wyatts in pecan are badass. The lizard look great as well.

Thursday boots are all right but I regret not getting some iron rangers instead. J crew makes some good suede lace up.

yeah, the leather is softer but it's so pliable i wonder if it's simply a different treatment method ... the toes are bit too narrow, imo, but it's a great boot at a great price ...

I have a couple pair of Wolverine 1883 styles that I'll wear for another 15 years. Feel incredible on the feet and very nice overall. Worth every penny.

If you want Chelsea boots, do yourself a favor and get RM Williams, you won't be disappointed. Plenty of choices in leather finish, toe shape, sole material and heel type. You
Alden Indy's can work in a lot of different settings as well, depending on how well you keep them up.
Either of these are remarkably comfortable and very well crafted.
