Incorrect. You paid for the seat. The tray is for eating. It’s a LAPtop. Put it in your lap

I'm tall, so I hate being reclined on, but I'm just there to travel not teach people manners.

I will not recline my seat unless there is no one behind me or it's a small person/child back there.

It is airlines fault though not recliner or reclinee

Agree lawnwrangler…..if there isn't enough room to, don't offer it.

I'm tall and it doesn't bother me.

I will recline my seat.

but the seat back is basically no closer to your knees. The head only goes back about three inches, the bottom by your knees is like 1/2 an inch.

I guess I am not as sensitive as some

It’s of no consequence to the person behind me exactly for this reason. The bottom half of the seat isn’t moving back significantly so it doesn’t impinge on leg room. The top part is only moving back a few inches so it is no where near their face. People who complain are just miserable looking for reason to complain.

exactly.

But I don’t even care.

Hell sometimes I just lean forward and put my forehead in the back of the seat in front of me and take a nap that way.

If the recline is so inconsequential to you, shouldn't it also be inconsequential to the person behind you?

no, if it makes you “miserable”. It is definitely your fault

Then buy exit row or first class. The world doesn't revolve around you.

I don’t recline my seat, but I do think people should be able to. Not sure if I should upvote or downvote

False

I am tall and seat cranks down on my knees

It's not something I complain about because there's nothing I can do about it, but this isn't accurate. It does impinge on my leg room. It doesn't make the flight much more uncomfortable, but it does invade the little space airlines already give passengers.

I just choose to live by the golden rule. Sure it's my right to recline the seat, but I don't really like it when the person in front of me does it, so I choose to give the person behind me the courtesy I appreciate.

As always, your mileage may vary.
