Video trying to realistically simulate schizophrenia. If that’s what it’s really like I’m sorry but I’d have to blow my brains out. It explains a lot of the crazy stuff people that are schizophrenic do, hell if that’s what it’s really like I have no idea how those people could possibly function at all.

I’m not checking out the simulator- I’ve seen enough of it working at a public library

I’m a minute into the video. Time stamp of when the psychologically abnormal stuff starts?

My first reaction was that sounds like an extreme version of the inner dialogue a lot of us have. But there are some posters with schizophrenia in the comment section who point out that they are actual (to them) audible voices that can't be ignored and never stop. Must be nearly unbearable.

Guessing you’d need VR goggles to make it truly authentic... I’m not sure I’d have the balls to do that.

If anyone has a pair and thinks they can handle it please report back.

The voices in my head keep me from being lonely.

My wife has this inner dialogue. I do not. It's dead silence in my head for the most part. If I'm concentrating on something, I either imagine it visually or not at all. There are some things I concentrate on and my brain does the work for me, the solution just kind of shows up.

If that seems normal then you meant to say “we don’t understand.”

No way can I click on that. My mother was schizophrenic. The decades of fear and sadness she lived with is heartbreaking.

Why can’t they be positive voices? Why not both?
