Real estate OT people, is it considered tacky for a realtor to market a house as a FSBO?

Or maybe even considered unethical? Looking to possibly move and called two For Sale By Owner properties and both houses are realtors who have contracts on the properties. Of course they want my email address and all contact info, if I have a pre-approval letter, etc. with the typical bullshite pushiness of a realtor. One even has her number listed as "Property Owner" on Zillow which goes straight to her cell. Is there some realtor rule against this shite?
I bought my last house as a FSBO and I prefer it. Sellers are much more willing to move on the price of a house if they aren't dumping 6% to some a-hole who didn't do shite but put it on a few websites and stick a sign in the yard.

Are you saying you don't want to pay a 40 year old divorcee 6% for posting pictures?

The agents do this outside the knowledge of the real estate brokerage they work for because they don't want to pay a commission to their broker.
Both are required to have Agent-Owner on their advertising BTW. If they don't then they are violating the law.

Lol. So in your single experience you think it’s better than the establishment that closes millions per year.
How do you know the realtors aren’t selling their own house?
Put in a couple offers on fsbo and get back to me. You’ll find plenty of idiots that have no idea how much their house is worth and won’t budge on price.

so the seller should pay 6% to get an agent to talk them into a lower price?
Seems the situation will correct itself when the owner realizes his house isn't selling. And the seller wont have to pay commission for it.

It was my first question, pretty simple.

Well you didn’t state that clearly in the OP.
I’d do 2 things, find out their name and call their brokerage. As said it’s likely something they are doing to get around paying their broker.
2nd, call and complain to the real estate commission.

They are required to have "Owner/Agent" on the signage. Other than that, there is nothing to report. They are not required to list their personal property through their brokerage.

They have to disclose as owner/agent

Agents have buyers at all times. So even though it is for SALE by the owner, an agent still has an interest in showing it to BUYERS who are in the market.
It's what a good agent does.
Not sure what's going on with your deal, but why anyone would want to try to sell a house (or buy one) without proper legal representation, is beyond me.

This was my first guess.
